An extremely rare British 1822 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword with blue and gilt ‘pipe-backed’ blade, manufactured by Robert Mole of Birmingham. Retaining visually all of the original blue and gilding to the blade and gilding to the basket guard and backstop. Complete with its black leather scabbard with gilt mounts and twin suspension rings. A superb sword for the serious collector.
