A curious early 19th century Lignum vitae gavel with a collection of names carved into the head. Possibly Masonic? There is what is believed to be a silver ring to one end which is engraved with “Mr Eggleston In The Chair.”

Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound.
